THE CHILD ALERT FOUNDATION FIRST TO OFFER IMMEDIATE WIRELESS ACCESS TO INFORMATION ABOUT MISSING/ABDUCTED CHILDREN

Law Enforcement Can Now Immediately Access Information about a Missing/Abducted Child with Web-Enabled Mobile Phones or PDAs

(DUSHORE, PA – August 28, 2001) – The Child Alert Foundation (http://www.childalert.org) today becomes the first organization to provide immediate information about missing and abducted children via Internet-enabled mobile phones and wireless hand-held devices.

The Child Alert Foundation's wireless site provides information about the most recent alert activated as well as a menu of options for other missing or abducted individuals. Users simply enter wireless.childalert.org to access the wireless application on PDAs with a wireless modem or Web-enabled phones, including models by Nokia, Samsung, Ericsson, Qualcomm, and other commonly used brands.

"We want to give law enforcement immediate access to information about missing/abducted children wherever they are -- at work, home or traveling abroad. Wireless access via web-enabled mobile phones and PDAs creates a quick and easy way to obtain it".

The Child Alert Foundation is a 501(c)3 non profit charity dedicated to assisting police, sheriff and 911 facilities to notify their surrounding community using the state of the art Abduction Central Alert (ACA)© software application. Once activated, the ACA © community notification system activates pagers, transmitts faxes, sends email notifications, builds Internet websites and much more.

Help make your neighborhood "CAF Safe".
