Police say 6-year-old Opal Jennings was abducted while playing in a vacant lot with two young friends outside her grandmother's home in the 200 block of North Hampshire Street. Opal lives with her grandmother in Saginaw, a Fort Worth suburb located in Northwest Tarrant County.

The other children said a man grabbed her and drove away with Opal crying. The missing girl's grandmother immediately called 911 and police issued an Amber Alert to broadcasters.

The description of the suspect in the Opal Jennings kidnapping remains sketchy because the witnesses were so young. Here is what is known:
white male
40-45 years old
wrinkled face
wearing a red ball cap, black pants, black tennis shoes
driving a dark, 4-door, late model sedan, possibly a Mercury

*SAGINAW - Police are releasing more information about Opal’s suspected abductor.

They say he is a white or Hispanic male with no facial hair. He has dark shoulder length hair that was pulled back into a ponytail. He was wearing a red cap, dark T-shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
He was driving a dark blue or purple two-door car with a brown top, tinted windows, chrome wheels, a lifted front end and several antennas in the back.

To help with the search, a special Opal tip line has been created.
That number is (817) 847-6087
.

Schepps Dairy of Dallas has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of a suspect.

Police announced that a second reward has been offered in the case. An anonymous donor, they said, will pay $10,000 for Opal's safe return.
